Welcome to my blog, Hope you like it...

I started this Blog to track my progress as I start my crafting journey. It begins with me as a fledgling crafter and hopefully ends with helping to inspire others to create.

vintage ribbon from my stash

Birthday Card

I'm really pleased with this cute little car for my niece. it really didn't take very long either! i used my lovely hunkydory card blanks which were so easy to ink up with my trusty distress ink and just matted, layered and decoupaged cute lil raindrop onto the card.

My work in progress

I've not done much work on my mini scrapbook recently but i'm pretty pleased with how its coming along (however slowly!) not 100% sure on the cover so it may have to change!!

My absolute favourite pages =)

Distressing Times!

I'm absolutely loving distress inks and all things inky!! you can create such fab effects with just some inks and a few stamps, it really makes me feel soooooo very creative =)

I actually managed to work my cut n dry foam to 'distress'!

The cover so far

I've started making a mini scrap book as my on going project and am having a great time decorating (inking!) the pages I'll keep you updated with the progress of my pages.

I've already got plans for this page

Crafting has suddenly taken over my life!

Well, all the spare, left over bits of my life, my crazy lil boys have most of it =) I've been interested in crafting most of my life but always thought i was a bit rubbish and not very creative until...

I was inspired one afternoon while flicking through the channels with the newest arrival (he wasn't too fussed what we watched!) and i found a fabulous channel, i'm sure you've heard of it, known as create and craft. I was hooked, they made everything look so lovely and best of all, like i could do it to!

So, after convincing my husband I began ordering cd-roms, my intention was to keep it simple and not take up to much space but already I'm building up quite a stash =)

At the moment I love every one of my creations (we shall see how long that lasts) and I'm slowly learning more and more about various kinds of crafts and discovering so many wonderful products. I've decided to start my blog (i've had it for years and not used it!) and chronicle this little journey of mine.... hope you enjoy
